Abstract

This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the development and characterization of mucoadhesive microspheres encapsulating Rosiglitazone Maleate, a drug commonly used for managing type 2 diabetes. Mucoadhesive drug delivery systems have emerged as a promising approach for improving the bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy of orally administered drugs. This manuscript examines the methods of preparation, evaluation techniques, and potential advantages of using mucoadhesive microspheres for Rosiglitazone Maleate delivery.
